Composite 3D printing produces exceptionally strong and accurate functional parts using engineered plastic materials that are reinforced with fiber. In the printing process, Nylon fiber is extruded from the print head. A continuous strand of carbon fiber, Kevlar or fiberglass is extruded alongside the Nylon, forming parts with unparalleled strength, stiffness and durability. With Onyx material, chopped carbon fiber is blended into the Nylon filament.
